We are currently in the building phase of opening. We'll keep everyone updated on the progress.
We are a coworking and community club space. We will serve as an inclusive place where we can gather over coffee, milkshakes, smoothies or even beer and wine. It will feature outdoor seating for those sunny days when you want to enjoy the weather while working or socializing. There will be lawn games and volleyball for physical activity and acoustic music to soothe your soul. Our 4.5 acres to the North where the Long Creek teacherage used to be (circa 1920s) will be used as a non-profit turtle rescue and habitat for bees.
Over 10,000 sq ft will be dedicated to gardening and there will be multiple fruiting bushes and trees throughout the site. The gardening club will be open to all ages, growing a pollinator garden, fresh fruits, vegetables and flowers. The garden club will share their best tips and tricks, their harvests as well as seeds and starter plants. Come grow with us!
We love the outdoors and we know you do too. Relax under an old dogwood while reading a book or catching up with a friend. As the nights turn cooler, you'll be able to share the evening around a warm fire connecting with your children, telling stories with friends or meeting someone on a date.
"Music does more than just soothe the soul, it brings balance to the mind, body and spirit." - Bertice Barry
Slow down with us. Relax after a busy day on the patio listening to locals play acoustic music. We're for a calm, quiet evening - no amplified live music will be offered.
We'll have 2 sand volleyball courts which we will also use for cornhole, kubb, and other lawn games. We're partnering with a girls youth sand volleyball club who will hold practices here after school. In the evenings, we'll offer volleyball for adults a few nights.
Monday - Th: 8am - 9pm
Friday: 8am - 10pm
Saturday: 10am - 10pm
Sunday: 10am - 9pm
Sleep in on the weekends - we'll see you in the late morning.
**Closing times mirror the closing times of Lancaster's BBQ, just 200ft away.
Katie runs a 501(c)(3) registered non-profit called Unsheltered Tortoise and Turtle. We own 4.5 acres next to the Long Creek Family Entertainment site that will be used for the non-profit. This will provide a sanctuary home to non-wild turtles and tortoises as well as offer rehab care for injured local wild turtles. This site will also be home to bees as well as many native trees and plants. You can learn more at www.unshelterednc.com
